It's all about the cake

My absolute favorite part of a first birthday party is watching the little one enjoy their first taste of cake! Since Hudson was getting so sleepy after about an hour into the party we decided we'd better do the cake before we "lost" him. He took his sweet ole time sampling his sweets and the fun stopped once he began rubbing his tired eyes with frosting covered fists. Good thing for Hudson that his actual birthday is in two weeks and he'll get to enjoy another cake. He'll be a pro the second time around.
