Wordless Wednesday

Last night Hudson and Daddy put together the train track that the boys received as a gift some time ago. Hudson loved it and was very good about keeping it all together. He patiently drove Thomas (yes, all trains are named Thomas) all around. Daddy appropriately named Bryce "Godzilla" because he could not wait to trample it! We'll see what tomorrow brings as all of the boys plan on playing with it again!

Holy Grumpiness!

I know, I know...I've already shared grumpy faces; however, I can't get enough of them! They totally crack me up! I love that the boys feel they have to express their frustration with every single muscle in their tiny little face! Below Brycie is getting upset because I sat in front of him while he was watching Glee. Hudson's pic was taken a couple of days so I'm thinking it taken was when we were leaving...he was probably saying "I not going"!

We all vacuuming!

Only in our home would you find two little men so excited to run the vacuum! As I was putting fresh sheets on our bed, where the boys were also playing, Hudson heard his Daddy open the closet door. He began running around saying "he's going to vacuum! he's going to vacuum, brycie's going to vacuum, and me's going to vacuum!". Moments later Brian called me out to see...Such great helpers!

Hand Me Down Toys...

...are the BEST! The boys' friend, Chad, is turning the big 1-0 shortly; therefore, he's ready to pass some of his toys on. It all started when we talked about Hudson wanting a Steelers helmet. Chad dug out his ol' helmet and also found a truck for Beaskers so that he wouldn't be left out! Very thoughtful!! The boys love their new to them toys and I love how they each wore a green glove while playing. Hudson thought he and Bryce were T-Rex with them on!!

Sesame Street Live

We took the boys to a Sesame Street Live performance Tuesday evening. What fun!! Bryce was "good as gold" and sat on either my lap or Brian's lap during the entire show. Although Hudson was a little more restless, but he still behaved wonderfully! Hudson actually said "I'm so excited!" after he heard Big Bird announcing that the show would begin in 3 minutes! Armed with lots of drinks and snacks, we had a fantastic family night!

I wish that I could write down every funny thing that Hudson says because he's talking up a storm now! We can actually have conversations! It's amazing to watch him play with toys too. I think we need to thank Santa for bringing Toy Story 3 because ever since he started watching it he makes his toys "talk". The other day the Spongebob paint container asked the Patrick paint container if he wanted a Krabby Patty. And today Eebee told Cheetah "good ROAR, Cheetah" after he roared!

Fun Factory

We're starting to get the Winter Blues around here! We want daylight to last longer, we want it to be warmer, and we want some new ways to play! Since playing outside is not yet an option we decided to break out the Play Doh Fun Factory that we received from the Hoover family for Christmas! I wanted to show Hudson how it worked first before handing it over to him. I asked him which design he wanted to come out of the dial first and he said "the triangle!". Okay, triangle it was! He was too funny when the playdoh came out...he said "it's beautiful!". He then immediately asked for a crocodile and a wolf. Luckily he finally settled for a yellow duck! Bryce surprisingly did not want to touch the playdoh! Instead he wanted to "drink" it. To get him to join in the fun, I made a ball from playdoh and sat across from him at the table. This got him excited! He loved rolling the ball back and forth. Once he started to put the ball in his mouth every.single.time I told him NO, we decided to clean up for the night...but not before Hudson could say "bye bye playdoh!".
