Wordless Wednesday

Eventhough this post is supposed to be "wordless", I must say that Hudson would never do this! We all knew this kid was going to be trouble...good, fun, spunky trouble!

B's idea of chillin'

B is too cute! Almost everyday he goes to the cupboard, takes out a can of soda, then sits at the table and pretends to drink it. This is a very leisurely activity for him complete with "aaahhh" (so refreshing) sounds and all!

Hopefully next week is a healthy one!

This is what you could have expected to see at any given moment in our home last week! The boys were sick! Still are...a little, but on the mend! Feverish, lots of snot, and lots of coughs. We were disappointed that we had to cancel the circus yesterday as we looked forward to seeing the tigers and elephants for over a month, but we're happy they're feeling better and we'll be sure to catch the next one!

Sleepy Head

Hudson and Bryce were playing together last weekend; however, after about 10-15 minutes I realized that Brycie was "missing". I thought that he would have to be making a mess somewhere since he was being so quiet, but when I went to his room THIS is how I found him! He missed his afternoon nap, but was determined to make up for lost time! AND with the football helmet?! This boy is going to keep us on our toes :)

"Bunk Beds"...Sorta!

Silly boys! This was all their doing. Hudson climbed up on his shelf and asked for a pillow...so I, of course, gave him a pillow! He then asked for covers...so I, of course, gave him covers! He thought this was pretty neat and stayed up there for about 20 minutes. As soon as Bryce saw Hudson looking all cozy he ran to the other bookshelf and copied his big bro! He also wanted the pillow and blanket, but as soon as he got cozy he wanted down. Oh well, it was cute while it lasted!

Fresh Air

Eventhough we've been couped up in this house all week with sickies, we were able to enjoy the outdoors a few days last week. The boys were thrilled to get some fresh air. We started our walk in the stroller because we didn't want them running toward the street in all of their excitement, but once we got to the park, we let them run free. We were pleased with how well Hudson listened to us this year. He walked steadily instead of running and he stopped when we asked him to. Last year he paid us no attention! Hudson also surprised us when I told him to stand by the tree so that Daddy could take his picture...he ran right over to the tree and kept saying "cheeeeese!". Finally he picked up a Johnny Stick and was set. Bryce was very excited and just ran the whole time, took a couple tumbles, and followed his big brother! It's amazing how much each of them have changed since last Spring!

A little bit of This & A little bit of That

1. My friend, Lucia, is into party planning as much as me! She's the best aunt ever and plans a little holiday extravaganza for her niece and nephews for every holiday. Lucky for us, we were invited to come play. There was lots of great food, crafts, and company. The boys love playing with other kids and we had a blast celebrating St Patty's Day & Mardi Gras!
*Hudson said "mommy's a princess" when he saw me posting this picture...what a sweetie!

2. Hudson and Bryce are constantly chasing each other around and it always ends with Hudson tugging on B and pulling him down. He's so smothering on his little bro! I have a feeling the tables will soon turn :)

3. B-Man is getting so big...we were cracking up when he decided he wanted to share his drink with Hudson during "movie night". He kept holding it to his mouth for him to drink!

Speaking of big boy...he loves using his utensils!

4. Bryce's idea of playing and Hudson's idea of playing are SO different! Bryce loves for you to chase him while making monster sounds. He runs backwards until it is his turn to come after you and of course he makes monster noises too!

5. These boys make some silly faces! Brian put it best today when he said that I need to wear the camera around my neck so that I can capture them!

6. Stud Muffins! Brian and I took the boys to Easter Bunny Lane today. They each sported a mohawk and I think they were the cutest little men EVER

Wonder what it looks like...

...to take two boys to the doctor's??

The boys were very friendly in the waiting area. They made themselves comfortable at the table and they even chose a book off of the shelf and went back to their seat to read. They love other kids and couldn't wait to walk up to the others just to say "hi"...unfortunately most kids are there because they are sick so I didn't want them to get too "friendly".

Bryce absolutely hates the doctor's office! He screams before I even get his clothes off. I couldn't even get a picture of him getting weighed and measured because I had to comfort him instead. During this visit he weighed 21 pounds 8 ounces and was 30 1/2 inches long.

Thank goodness for the iPhone. We had Toy Story's "You've Got a Friend in Me" on repeat. Bryce was once again happy and bobbing to the music until the doctor walked in...let the tears begin...and he didn't even need any shots this visit!

And while all of this doctor shmoctor stuff was going on, Hudson was "exploring"! I'm sure they love when the Lasher's come for a visit! Next check up will be for both boys- when they turn 2 & 3 this July!
