Sixty and I Know It

Surprise!  Noni turned 60 and thought she was coming to babysit so that Brian and I could go to dinner for Sweetest Day.  Dana and I even took her to get our makeup done for a "trial" for the wedding so that she would look beautiful!
High: Craig and Susie came from Columbus!
Low: Hudson sprayed air freshener in Noni's eye!
We had an awesome evening and it was so great to celebrate a special birthday with special people!

Thank you...

Bryce says "thank you" more than anyone I know!  He says thank you when we do his laundry, he says thank you when we help him into bed because he's climbing in feet first on his hands, and he says thank you for my Scooby Doo Happy Meal!  I know we are thankful for some Bryce in our life!

Our day started & ended on a high note!

Since Daddy helped a friend at work do some landscaping today I took the boys to McDonald's for breakfast for the first time ever!  At first they were excited, but then Hudson got a little upset because he wasn't getting a happy meal or a toy!  Bryce was happy with his breakfast of pancakes minus the syrup, hashbrowns, and chocolate milk.  After a few minutes of being grumpy grapes Hudson began eating his pancakes then forgot he was even upset!
This evening I decided to run to a few stores while Daddy and the boys stayed at home.  While I was out I got Scooby jammies!  The boys were thrilled!  I've never seen Bryce so anxious to put on clothes ;)  Hudson turned into "Shaggy" and instantly fell in love with his Scooby aka Sammie!  He even asked me to get him a green shirt and wanted Sammie, I mean Scooby, to sleep in his bed- that's a first!

Whitehouse

We're going to have to work on Hudson's "say cheese" skills!

Donuts, pumpkins, petting zoo, oh my!  It's that time of year again.  Whitehouse Fruit Farms annual craft show.  The weather was absolutely perfect and the boys had so much fun playing on the sliding boards this year.  Hudson even went through the big caterpillar, but Bryce was afraid.  The boys were quick to choose their pumpkins this year and talked most of the way home about what they were painting on their pumpkins.  Hudson wants to paint Hulk and Bryce wants to paint Lightening McQueen!

Our Wednesday Night...

The whole clan took a trip to Mill Creek Park to scope out a location for Aunt Dana's bridal shower and made a pit stop at the Lily Pond!  While checking out my camera on the way home, our budding photog couldn't resist snapping a few pics of his own!  I'm thinking Santa may need to bring Hudson a camera of his very own this year!

Miles' 2nd Birthday Party

Miles' 2nd Birthday Party was a blast!  My friend, Marcie, put a lot of love and effort into creating a party that all of the kids would enjoy!  Each table was character themed with cupcake centerpieces...the boys chose Cookie Monster for our table!  There were several fun activity areas to keep the kids occupied such as Pin the Nose on Elmo, Oscar's Trash Toss, an activity table with puzzles and coloring books, and a TV with Sesame Street episodes playing!  Bryce was obsessed with the goodie bags.  Not only did he carry them around the entire day, seriously the entire day, he also slept with them!  Hudson couldn't get enough of those huge balloons!  Bryce ran around and yelled "Sesame Street party" with pure joy and excitement!  Glad we were part of the celebration!

Shark Week

For months Hudson was set on having a shark cake for his birthday, but a couple of weeks before he started asking for an Avengers cake.  Since his final request was Avengers that's what he got!  A day after his birthday he was ready for his shark cake!  The idea was born to have a little shark week celebration...especially since all of the boys, including Daddy, like watching the programs!  While Daddy gave the boys a bath I set up the shark infested ocean and set out a few snacks.  The boys were more than anxious to see what I was up to!  After I pinned on their shark fins they were ready to sit in the ocean with all of the other sharks!  They absolutely had a blast this evening and I loved watching them enjoy it so much!
