Wordless Wednesday
Check out that shiner!! Too bad it's Wordless Wednesday. Guess I can't tell you how he got it...
Just kidding! I can share. It looks like B-Man is going to take after his Daddy in the accident department! This is the third time that Bryce has fallen in the bathtub and hit his eye. The first two times he actually hit the tub and cut his eyelid. This time he hit a toy attached to the tub. Thankfully it was there to break his fall. Do you think that he would catch on...NOPE... he still refuses to sit down! Gotta love him...pure TROUBLE :)

Our Day Out With Thomas

Today we spent the Day Out With Thomas! The boys were so excited and so well behaved! The Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railway had a very nicely organized set up that made for a fun day. There were several tents with activities for all of the kids, and while there were many people there, nothing seemed overly crowded. In one tent we enjoyed a story and watched a Thomas video. In another we got temporary tattoos...well, Hudson got one. Bryce was interested but didn't want one on his body... (*For some reason, I think this will be just the opposite in the future ;) ). The final tent that we went into had lots of train tables for the kids to play with. This was where we were most proud of the boys. They played well with others, didn't whine or fight for trains, and were happy to leave when it was time to board our train. The train ride was short and sweet. The boys were both so sleepy once our ride was over, so it was time to search for dinner. We ended up at the Winking Lizard before heading home. We had a fabulous day! Definitely one for the memory books :) *Parental reminder: Always buy two balloons, no matter how much they cost...even if only one child wants one at the time of purchase! It will save headaches later!
**Funny story: When the boys share a drink, I always count..."1, 2, 3, 4, 5. Hudson's turn" and vise versa so that the boys do not try to take it from one another when it is not his turn. Today, in reference to the balloon reminder above, Bryce was carrying the balloon that he so badly wanted. Well, of course Hudson now wanted the balloon too...so Hudson said "count Mommy!" We thought this was sooo cute! He wanted me to count so that he'd get a turn...okay, you get it. Adorable, right? :)

Best Garage Sale Purchase Ever!!
Although this purchase was made two weekends ago, I thought the pictures were worth sharing! Jill, Chad, the boys and I decided to go to a large group of homes having a huge sale. I was looking for a bench for the garage, which I found for $10! And I also found this cardboard house for $15! As soon as I put it together, Hudson was asking me to be the "Big Red Bad Wolf"! He pretended to be the lil' pig hiding inside! Pretty clever! Bryce had just as much fun entering one side and exiting the other...over and over again! We haven't started to color the house yet. I'm afraid they might be confused and think they can color everything! Maybe this will be an outside project :)

Summer Cut
Last Thursday I took the boys for "summer cuts". Hudson reminds me of G'Pa when he gets his summer do! Super short. It's growing on us and we love it! He looks like such a big boy. Bryce got his hair cut after Bryce, so I was much more reluctant to cut his all off after seeing Hudson. I don't think I could take two big boys in the same night. I asked for B's to stay a little longer so I could keep my baby (well, a little longer)! Bryce has the straightest hair ever, so his hair is challenging to cut. He kinda has the spike back, which is adorable. I'll post pics of him as soon as he cooperates :)

Dana's 21st Birthday
May 4th was Dana's 21st Birthday! We celebrated with dinner and family at our house. The kids had a blast. Running through the house, laughing, making crazy noises...that's what it's all about!! They put on quite the show for their aunt! The birthday girl has grown into a beautiful young lady and we are so glad that we were able to spend the day together! Happy, happy 21st DANA!! We love you!
Let's all go to the zoozy zoo...
