Happy New Year

Many start each new year off with resolutions, many of which include diets or kicking some sort of habit. This year my goal is to stop and smell the roses...appreciate what is happening in the moment rather than waiting for Hudson to reach his next milestone. For example, I have been so anxious for him to rollover because all of the books say that most babies his age do. I didn't want him to lag behind, so I encouraged and pushed and finally on December 23rd he rolled over. Today, one week later, he must have rolled over half a dozen times while Brian and I played with him on the floor. Brian and I also packed up all of the clothes that Hudson has already outgrown. 2 whole boxes full already and looking back it's hard to believe that there was a time that those clothes were too big for him! As seen in the photos below, Hudson received many great gifts this Christmas and it is so exciting to watch his little mind try to figure them out. As quickly as he is growing, I'm sure he'll have them mastered in no time!
