Our days festivities began with a parade in
Howland. It was a scorcher! Since the kiddos aren't big enough yet to run after the candy, we left after Hudson saw the firetrucks. After the parade we went to Meredith's house, as usual, for a backyard BBQ. We arrived a little early to enjoy the swimming pool. Although we were unsure how the boys would react, they both went right into the water. Hudson get referring to the pool as a big bath. Once the family arrived we all chit chatted and relaxed! We came home around 9pm, put the boys right into their pj's, and put them to bed- dirty! They were exhausted and we are so glad to have had a perfect day together! Thankfully we have tomorrow off too!
